In this first phase I'll sit down and collect as much information to create a program that is functional for you. I will evaluate your property to see if we can take advantage of existing conditions such as trees, orientations, or any  elevation conditions that could affect your design. I will review and discuss your design aesthetics to see what style of home you like

In this phase, I will develop a few approaches to the design. During this phase, the drawings are more conceptual which include sketches, mass modeling, and shapes. Through these developments, I will arrive at a single solution to the design

In this phase, I will be developing a single direction which was decided upon in the previous phase. Design decisions are made and developed during this phase. I will develop sections, elevations, and building details.

By the time I arrive to this phase, all design decisions have been made. A full set of drawings  typically required for permitting will be drawn. Assistance in selecting contractors for your home can be arranged.

Once construction begins, I can provide guidance to the contractor including clarifications. I will visit the job site and document the construction. I will include a field report delivered to you for your records of the construction process.
